Question:  How far in advance should I order my Traveling Cake Plate Wedding Cake?

Answer: You should place your order ASAP! However 4-6 months in advance is the industry standard.  Just remember that weddings are booked on a first come, first served basis and limited number of events are booked per weekend. Never hesitate to give us call in case of an emergency! We are here to help.

Question: Do you charge a delivery fee?

Answer: Yes, normally when we quote you a price, the delivery and set up charge has already been included.  Sometimes, depending on the location of the reception, an additional charge may be assessed, but that is handled on a case by case basis.

Question: Do you have a minimum charge for a wedding cake?

Answer: Yes, the minimum charge for a wedding cake is $150.00.

Question: What should I expect with at my consultation?

Answer: At a Traveling Cake Plate consultation, you should expect to taste the three flavors you previously selected. We will discuss your expectations, review the previously discussed designs and prices you were quoted for those designs.

Question: I live out of town, can you mail my cake samples and paperwork? 

Answer:  Yes, we can for a pre-paid, non-refundable, non-deductible price of $40.00.  This portable tasting kit will include the standard portable tasting kit with all the pertinent paperwork and labels.  It will also be packed in a container with dry ice and instructions on how to safely remove and dispose of it.

Question: Will you stay and cut my wedding cake?

Answer: Absolutely.  However, there is a fee of $25.00 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours.

Question: How much of a deposit is needed to reserve my date?

Answer: You are required to pay 50% down to reserve the date and pay the final balance 2 weeks before your event. PLEASE NOTE: Failure to make the final payment 2 weeks before the event will result in the forfeiture of any previously made down payment and our products and services.
