Traveling Cake Plate now offers traveling craft and teaching centers that give learners and their caregivers the opportunity to create, decorate and participate in their own custom cake experience!  In addition, for your convenience, we bring the centers to your event site.

Each cake-learning center uses constructivist-teaching methods and custom designed age appropriate curriculums that encourage learning through:

· Hand-eye coordination
· Sharing
· Teamwork/Team Building
· Leadership
· Creativity
· Culinary arts

We Provide:

1. Supplies/utensils
· Decorating table cloth
· Returnable cake decorating supplies
· Eating utensils/plates

2. Child size chef’s hat for each child participant

3. 1 Traveling Cake Plate Hostess

4. 30 minutes of instruction

5. 1 hour of hands project creation (See Project Options)

6. Debriefing activities of the experience

7. Certificates of Accomplishment

You Provide:

1. A flat non-carpeted surface that will comfortably seat or stand the specified number of participants.
2. Help monitor the group
3. Place all pets in a separate area with barrier.

Project Options

Grades K-5

Individual Cupcake Projects

Children will be taught to recognize the basic and necessary tools of butter cream and fondant cupcake decorating.  In addition, they will be allotted time to customize their very own cupcake box. 

Children will follow instructions to decorate TWO cupcakes to look like one of the following themes: (You may choose 2 themes)

Insects:
Lady Bug
Bumble Bee

Faces:
Yellow Smiley Face
Cookie Monster
Oscar the Grouch
Big Bird
Pirate
Princess

Animals:
Elephant
Giraffe
Monkey
Fish

Grades 6-12

Learners will be taught to recognize and use the basic and advanced tools necessary to complete one custom cake decorating challenge in butter cream and fondant.  A team of learners will follow instructions to decorate one custom decorated cake in ONE HOUR.  You may choose one of the following themes:
